Most recently, the game was given a high school-themed expansion pack, and prior to that, the inhabitants of The Sims 4 could experience life as a werewolf, in case their daily lives weren’t complicated enough. With that said, there’s plenty of content to keep players busy in the base game, although expansions and add-ons for The Sims 4 are often considered an excellent way to expand your Sims’ horizons. While the base game will be free for all players on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC from tomorrow, any expansion packs and additional DLC for the game will still need to be purchased separately. However, they’ll only have the rest of today to do so, as it’ll no longer be available once the free-to-play update kicks in tomorrow. In addition, those who are current owners of the life-sim title can bag themselves a freebie in the form of The Sims 4 Desert Luxe Kit.
